Crewing on racing sailboats is a great way to learn to sail. You quickly learn how to sail from A to B, round a mark, and sail back home. The Beer Can Fun races are very laid-back with one of the main rules being "no protests". Many serious racers participate, but many Beer Can skippers are into steering the boat with their toes while serving beer/wine to their crew. Beginning sailors are welcomed as crew members for this fun way to learn to sail while enjoying the Rez. There are all female crews, all youth crews, etc. And, all the skippers love to instruct!

The Beer Can Fun Races are held on Wednesday evenings in the Spring & Summer and on Saturday afternoons in the Fall & Winter.

If you are interested in crewing, please contact us at jycfoundation@gmail.com. (Insert Beer Can Contact Button. )

Need to figure out how to insert Rounding the Mark video.
